Comprehensive replacement of the HVAC systems in the offices and laboratories without interrupting the daily research and testing activities of the Eduardo Torroja Institute.
The existing air conditioning and ventilation system was replaced with a more efficient and sustainable one, including the monitoring and certification of the building’s energy performance.
The project was based on a previous study in which the thermal and indoor air quality needs were analysed, and a technical solution was proposed that optimised the use of resources and minimised the environmental impact.
It included the design, installation, commissioning and maintenance of the new system, as well as the preparation of the corresponding reports and certificates
